What is an Event?

An Event will be the main attraction that a Customer will purchase tickets to attend.

Within Line-Up, the Event page is where you create and manage your Performances, Prices, Allocations and Locks (if you have Reserved Seating). It is also where you activate your Delivery Methods, Opt Ins and Customer Forms.

What can I do on the Event Info page?

It is where you can enter the details for your Event, including Booking Info, Location and which Channels have access, amongst others. See our Guide for full instructions.

FAQs

Why isn't my image uploading?

This is either because:

  • The file size is too large, so you just need to resize the image.

  • It contains too much metadata. You may need to strip the image using an editor software.

If you have tried the above and are still having issues. please contact Support.

How do I activate the Event Info page for my Booking Flow?

By adding /info to the end of your Event-specific URL, after the Event ID.

For Example:

https://tickets.mytheatre.com/event/1234/info

What is the Image Carousel and how can I use it for the my Booking Flow?

A selection of images that you can upload and use for an Event Info page on your Customer-Facing Booking Flow.

To upload images for your Carousel, you can go to the Artwork & Media section:

You can either drag your image files into the upload area, or click 'Browse to upload' to make your image selection

For each image, you can add alt text for accessibility, delete the image, or move the image up or down in the list:

Here’s an example of how the Carousel appears on an Event Info page on the Customer-Facing Booking Flow:

Important notes

  • Image must be a maximum of 1MB.

  • The images will appear in the Carousel in the order they appear on the list. Use the up/down arrow to modify the image position in the carousel.

I'm using the Event List on my website to take Customers to each Event. How do I link them to the Info Page, rather than the Calendar Page?

Yes, just contact the Support Team and we can enable that for you.

With that feature enabled, clicking on the 'Book Now' button, would take you to the Event's Info Page:
