Guide: Seat History

Data Availability and Retention

The data for Seat History has been tracked from 1 December 2025.
Data will be retained and is available to view up to 30 days after the Performance Date. This is only available for Admin Users.

Accessing Seat History

  1. On the Seat Map, right click on the applicable seat and select View Seat History:

  2. The Seat History 'drawer' will slide out from the right side of the screen to display the summary audit trail for the selected seat:

    This can be closed by clicking the 'X' in the top right corner, and it will return you to the Seat Map.

    The Activity History is shown in date order, with the most recent action at the top of the display.

History Drawer

  1. The selected Seat and current Seat Status is shown at the top of the display:

    1. This section will also display the following Seat information:

      • Current status - Complete, Reservation, No transaction

      • Availability status

      • Current band

      • Current seat type

      • Last updated

Seat Actions

The following actions display information on the specific Seat update, including the Line-Up User and Date/Time.

  1. Seat Created - The first action when assigned to a performance:

  2. Seat Type - Any action related to adding or removing a seat type:

  3. Availability Status - Actions relating to adding or removing a Hold or Allocation:

  4. Price Band - Actions relating to Price Band updates:

Transaction Actions

The following actions display Transaction updates on the Seat, including the type of Transaction, Order Reference (opening the Order on a new tab, when clicked), the Line-Up User and Date/Time.

  1. Transactions are broken down into:

    1. Reservations - showing both the creation of the reservation as well as when the reservation is released:

    2. Purchases:

    3. Return, for refunds or when a seat has been returned as part of an exchange
