For Reserved Seating Events, you can Exchange a Transaction into the same seat, without needing to do two separate Transactions. You may want to use this process when handling Deposits, Price Changes or a change of Delivery Method.
Start an Exchange
Open the Transaction and click Manage Transaction, then Exchange. You can also start from Manage Order and then Exchange on the Order Details View
On the Box Office Settings pop-up, select the Active Channel you would like to record the Exchange against, then click Save
On the Select Items screen, tick the seat(s) you want to exchange and click Continue
In the Basket, click the Performance Date/Time on the RETURN line to go straight to the Venue Plan for that Performance
Selecting the Same Seat
On the Seat Map, the current seats will be highlighted red, which marks them as Returns in the Basket:
Clicking on the seats will provide a pop-up to select the Variants. Choose the Variant you want to exchange it to and add it to the Basket:
If there is a price difference, the balance of the Basket will update to show the new Subtotal that you can process payment for on the final step:
In addition to the difference in colours, you can see which Variants are which in the middle Variant column.
Complete the Transaction as normal to issue the new Tickets
