For Reserved Seating Events, you can Exchange an Order into the same seat, without needing to do two separate transactions. You may want to use this process when handling Deposits or Price Changes.
Start an Exchange
On a Customer's Order, click the Exchange button:
On the next page, you can click on the Performance Date to go straight to its Seat Map:

On the Seat Map, the current seats will be highlighted red, which dictates them as Returns in the Basket:
Clicking on the seats will provide a pop-up to select the Variants. Choose the Variant you want to exchange it to and add to basket:
If there is a price difference, the balance of the basket will update to show the new Subtotal that you can process payment for on the final step:
In addition to the difference in colors, you can see which Variants are which in the middle Variant Column.
Complete the transaction as normal to issue the new tickets.
