What is an Adjuster?
The commissions or fees that can be set inside or outside of a face value price, e.g:
Inside Adjuster = inside commission rate. This sits inside the price and does not impact what the customer pays.
Outside Adjuster = external booking fee. This sits outside the price and is paid on top of the face value.
You can create them as per Item or per Transaction.
What are the differences between Item & Transaction Adjusters?
Item Level
This is the commission or fee the Customer pays per Variant.
For Tickets or Products, every instance the item appears in the basket, the Adjuster will appear.
This is useful if an Agent has a commission per Item (Inside) or if the Customer pays a fee for each ticket (Outside).
Transaction Level
This will only ever appear in the basket, as a fee for the whole transaction.

NOTE - if you have Discount Variants, you'll need to add the Adjusters on the Variants in Discount Mode separately to the Full Price Variant

How do Transaction Level Adjusters appear in the Online Booking Flow?
How do Transaction Level Adjusters appear in the Online Booking Flow?
In the Online Booking Flow, as the Customer starts their journey, an Outside Transaction-Level Adjuster will show as part of the ticket price. However, once that ticket is added to the basket, this price will be removed from the ticket selection.
I.e., a £100 ticket with a £5 Transaction-Level Adjuster will initially show as £105 to the Customer in the ticket selection. Once that ticket is added to basket, tickets that can be added further will show as £100.
An Inside Transaction-Level Adjuster will not affect the Online Booking Flow because it sits within the ticket price.
