What User Roles are in Line-Up?

System Roles

You can invite your team members to join your Organisation as one of the following:

  • Owner - has full access to all data

  • Admin - full access to data but cannot edit the Owner's User Permission

  • Box Office - access to Box Office and Orders pages

  • Box Office - Admin - access to Box Office, Orders and can allocate, reband and change seat types

  • Finance - access to Reporting only


Custom Roles

The Manage Roles feature is available to users with the Owner or Admin system role.

Owners and Admins can define and manage user roles directly within the Line-Up Dashboard. Rather than relying on the fixed set of System Roles, you can create Roles tailored to your organisation's operational structure, configuring exactly what each role can see and do.

FAQs

Can I restrict a User's access to certain Purchase Flows?

Yes, on the Settings page, under the Access Limits tab.

NOTE - this will restrict what data the user can see. So if you lock a user to a certain Purchase Flow, they will then only be able to see the Events and Channels connected to it, along with Orders that have only been made through the Channel(s) connected to that Purchase Flow.

  1. Go to the Settings page and then the Access Limits tab

  2. Click Create Access Limit

  3. Enter the User's Name or Email Address

  4. Click the toggle next to Would you like to restrict their access to certain purchase flows?

  5. Select the Purchase Flow from the dropdown and click Apply

I have invited users but their link isn't working.

This may be because:

  • The link was sent over 7 days ago, in which case it will no longer be valid. Please try removing the pending invitation and creating the user again.

  • The browser is in incognito/private mode - the link will only work in a regular browser.

  • Their password is not long enough - it must be a minimum of 12 characters.

A user cannot log in.

If they already have an account and their password is not working, please ask them to click Forgot Password on the login page and they can reset their password.
