Overview & FAQs: Access Prices & Tickets

Updated over 2 weeks ago

How do I create Access Tickets?

By creating them as Variants on your Price Table.

You can restrict them to Access customers by setting a Visibility Rule where the prices will only show for Customers with a certain Tag.

How can I have my prices only show to customers with access needs?

If you have prices that are customer-specific, i.e. Access prices, then the Customer Tag rule is a useful way of setting visibility, as you can set a rule that a price will only show for customers that have a certain Tag attached to their profile.

For Access customers, you can:

  • Add a Tag to certain Customer Profiles, e.g. access

  • Create an Access Variant on your Price Table

  • Add a Visibility Rule and select the 'Customer Tag is' option

  • Select the access tag you've created

  • This price will then only appear when these Customers log into the website booking flow

NOTE - you will need to have customer login enabled on your Customer-Facing Booking Flow for this to work.

FAQs

How do I limit my Essential Companion Tickets to be purchased only with Access Tickets?

By using Customer Tags and Basket Validation rules, you can ensure your customers are able to purchase Access and Essential Companion tickets through the Customer-Facing Booking Flow. Check out the Guide here.

I don't have customer login on my booking flow, is there any other way of selling Access Tickets?

Not if you want to restrict visibility by Customer Tag. Please contact Support if you would like more help with Access Tickets or have Customer login enabled.

Can I sell Access Tickets in Box Office via Customer Tag?

We don't support customer login via the Box Office page unfortunately, so if you have prices hidden behind a tag, these will only appear in the Customer-Facing Booking Flow.

See our Guide for more details.

Can I restrict seats on my Venue Plan for Access Customers?

Yes, if you have a Reserved Seating Venue Plan then you can create an Availability Status, where you can allocate seats to customers with specific Tag.
