Guide: Box Office Access for an Agent

Yes, you can provide a Ticket Agent with direct access to Line-Up by granting them a User Permission.

There are different options for User Permissions; if you just want them to be able to put orders through, then you can provide them with Box Office or Box Office - Admin roles. See here for the different options.

Follow these steps to provide access for your Agent to Line-Up:

Create an Agent Channel

  1. Go to the Channels page

  2. Create a new Channel for the Agent


Add Channel to Payment Method

  1. Go to the Settings page and click the Payment Methods tab

  2. Select the Payment Method that you use for customer payments at Box Office, e.g. Adyen/Stripe

    NOTE, this must have MOTO payments enabled to be able to use in Box Office.

  3. Edit this Payment Method and add the Agent Channel.

  4. Click Submit to save


Add to Delivery Method

  1. Go to the Tools page and select Delivery Methods

  2. Either create a new Delivery Method for the Agent and add the Agent Channel or add the channel to an existing Delivery Method
    ​

    NOTE - this Delivery Method must be set up for the customer to receive emails/tickets directly


Adjusters

  1. If the agent is charging a Commission, go to the Tools page and select Adjusters

  2. Create an Inside Adjuster and add their Channel to it

  3. You'll then need to do add this to your Event's Price Table


Add Channel to Event

  1. Go to your Event and add their Channel to the correct Performances

  2. Add Channel to the correct Variants on the Event Price Tables. Right-click on the Variant and select Manage Channels

  3. If there is an Inside Adjuster for this Agent, add the Adjuster to the correct Variants. Right-click on the Variant and select Manage Adjusters

  4. When you are ready for the agent to have access, add the channel to the Event Info page


Create a User Permission for Agent User

  1. In order for the Agent to put through orders using Line-Up, they need be given access with a User Permission

  2. Go to the Settings page and click Team Settings

  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click New Invite

  4. Enter the email address of the Agent user and select the User Role they will be granted permission with

  5. If you want to restrict their access to a specific Purchase Flow, select the Toggle and enter the name of the Purchase Flow.

  6. Click Submit and they will then receive an email where they can set up their Line-Up account and then start using the system
