Guide: Set up an Adyen Payment Terminal

Follow the steps below to set up an Adyen Payment Terminal

Add Terminal

  1. Go to the Tools page on the left hand side and click Payment Terminals

  2. Click Add Terminal

  3. Enter details

    1. Name - a name for the payment terminal to help identify it easily

    2. Description - optional

  4. Model - you should be able to find this on the terminal device

  5. Serial Number - you should be able to find this on the terminal device

  6. Tags - help identify your terminals on the Terminals page

  7. Submit

Edit or Delete Payment Terminal

  1. If you need to make changes, click Manage on your Payment Terminal list

  2. Click Edit to make changes

  3. Click Delete to remove it from your Terminals

Add as Payment Method

  1. Go to the Settings page

  2. Click the Payment Methods tab and then New Payment Method

  3. Enter details

    1. Type - select Terminal - Adyen Terminals Payment Type from the dropdown

    2. Use testing mode? - optional, this will allow users to check out with Adyen test cards and should not be used in live booking flow

    3. Name - used for internal use only, on order details and for reporting

    4. API Key - enter an Adyen API key

    5. Client Key - enter an Adyen client key

    6. HMAC Key - enter an Adyen HMAC key

    7. Merchant Account Name - enter an Adyen merchant account name

  4. Select which Channels this payment method applies to

  5. Click Submit to save
