NOTE - you will need to register your terminal device as a Terminal Reader on Stripe first. See these Stripe documents for how to do this.
The Stripe Terminal devices we support are BBPOS WisePOS E models.
Add Terminal
Go to the Tools page on the left hand side and click Payment Terminals
Click Add Terminal
Enter details
Model - any three digits
Serial Number - use the Reader ID from Stripe
NOTE - do not use the Serial Number that's on the device because it will not work for this field on Line-Up. You will need the Reader ID from the Stripe dashboard - here's an example of what a Reader ID looks like:

- Log in to your Stripe Dashboard
In the left-hand menu, go to
Payments → Terminal → ReadersYou’ll see a list of all connected or registered readers
Click on the reader you want — you’ll then see its details panel.
There you’ll find:
Reader ID — looks like
tmr_123abcXYZLabel or nickname (if you’ve set one)
Location
Status (online/offline)

Submit Terminal
Edit or Delete Payment Terminal
If you need to make changes, click Manage on your Payment Terminal list
Click Edit to make changes
Click Delete to remove it from your Terminals
Add as Payment Method
Go the Settings page
Click the Payment Methods tab and then New Payment Method
Enter details:
Type - select Stripe Terminal from the dropdown
Use testing mode? - optional, this will allow users to check out with Adyen test cards and should not be used in live booking flow
Connect a Stripe Account - this will take you to the Stripe website where you can follow their instructions for connecting your account
Once you've connected your Stripe account, you will be taken back to the Line-Up Payment Method page, where you can enter these details:
Name - for internal use only
Channels - who does this Payment Method apply to?
Click Submit to save
