External Integrations - 'Sync Now'

A new sync now button has been added to External Integrations.

What's New

With events that are set up with external integrations to 3rd party ticketing systems, we synchronise any changes to the event in the external system into Line-Up on a fixed scheduled that runs every few hours. We are introducing a 'Sync Now' button that will enable to you trigger the synchronisation process manually.

The 'Sync Now' button can be found by either selecting Tools > External Integrations and selecting the event on which you would like to trigger the synchronisation process, or by going to Event > Settings > External integrations. The button can be found on the top right of the screen:

Once clicked, the synchronisation will be queued. You will not be able to use the 'Sync Now' button again for five minutes:


Email and Ticket Template Updates

We continue to evolve the Dashboard to roll out changes to make things work in a more consistent way. This includes updates to menu structures as well as more localised search.

What's New

Email and Ticket templates will be merged into a single tool, 'Templates':

After clicking 'Templates', Email and Ticket options are presented in the new left panel menu, with Email selected by default:​

Clicking 'Ticket' on the left panel menu will display the table with your ticket templates. Additionally, we have updated each list with a search bar across the top of each table, giving you an easy way to find the email or ticket template that you need:​

Once you click through to an Email or Ticket template, you can easily get back to the list by clicking the breadcrumb above the current page title:


Reports Scheduled Search

As well as Email and Ticket templates, we are extending these changes to Reports Schedules.

What's New

Clicking on Reports, the Folders and Schedules options are now displayed in the new menu structure on the left side, Folders is selected by default:

On clicking 'Schedules', a search bar has been added to the top of the table enabling a Schedules search by name:​

When you click through on an item in the list, you can easily return to the list by clicking the breadcrumb above the page title:


Performance List: Filter by Price Profile

We are adding the ability to filter the performance list by price profile.

What's New

When you go to Events > Performances and click 'Filters', a new 'Price Profile' option will be available:​

Once you click in the box, start typing to find the price profile you want to filter by:

Once you have selected the price profile from the list, click 'Done' to filter the performance list:​

Square Terminal Support

We have extended the payment options available in Line-Up to support payments via Square Terminals. This implementation also includes an easier way for you to connect your Square account.

What's new

Set up a Square or Square Terminal payment method

Within your organisation Settings>Payment Methods>New Payment Method, a new Square Terminal payment method is available:

Once you select 'Square Terminal', just click 'Connect Square Account' to be re-directed to your Square account and authorisation flow. The same authorisation flow will now apply to MOTO and Online Square payment methods:​

Just log-in with your Square account credentials:

And click 'Allow' to permit access from Line-Up:

Once the authorisation is complete, you will be directed back to Line-Up, where you can complete your payment method set up by adding the payment method name, and selecting the channels this will apply to:​

Set up your Square Terminal

Next, set up your payment terminal, you will need the payment terminal to hand in order to complete the connection!

Select Tools>Payment Terminals:

Then select 'Add Terminal':

Next, select 'Square Terminal', add the name you want to use for the terminal, and select 'Square Terminal' from the Payment Method drop down:

When you click 'Submit', you will be presented with a Device Code that you must input on the terminal in order to complete the connection:​

Once you have the Device Code, go to your terminal, make sure you sign out of any accounts, then go to Sign In>Use a device code and enter the code we provide.

The Line-Up screen will automatically refresh once the code is input and has been accepted. The Square payment terminal set up is complete!​

The Square Terminal payment method is now available for use in your selected channels:​


Event search for import bar code upload

A search bar has now been added to the import bar code upload tool.

What's new

When clicking Tools>Barcodes to import barcodes for an event, have introduced a search bar that now enables the table to be searched by event name:
