Guide: Create a Schedule to Auto-Send Reports

Follow the steps below to schedule Reports or Dashboards to send automatically

Create a New Schedule

  1. Go to the Reports page and click on the Schedules tab

  2. Click New Report Schedule

Add Details

  1. Enter the following:

    1. Name - this will appear as the email subject line for the recipient

    2. Description - for internal use

    3. Recipient Email Addresses - once you've entered an email address, make sure to enter a space after the address so that it shows in the field

  2. Select your Schedule from the following options:

    1. Every Hour

    2. Every Day - select time options from the dropdown

    3. Every Week - select day(s) of the week and time options from the dropdown. If you'd like to select multiple days, select each day you'd like the Report to be sent

    4. Every Month - select day(s) of the month and time options from the dropdowns. If you'd like to select multiple days, select each day you'd like the Report to be sent

  3. Set an end date for your Schedule:

    1. Until date - select a date from the dropdown. The Schedule will then end at midnight on this date

    2. Indefinitely - the Schedule will continue to send unless you set a date above

  4. Select your Attachments:

    1. Type - either Report or Dashboard

    2. File Format - either CSV or PDF

    3. Select your Reports

  5. Select a Destination - by default the Report is emailed to the recipients above. If you have a Document Delivery Method set up (e.g. SFTP), you can select it here so the file is delivered there instead

  6. Click Done to save


Manage a Schedule

  1. Click into the Schedule at any time from the Schedules tab

  2. This page displays the:

    1. Last Run

    2. Next Run

    3. Date that the Schedule Runs Until
