1. Create a New Seat Type
a) Go to the Tools page
b) Click Seat Types and then New Seat Type
2. Add Details
a) Name - for internal use, this will not be visible to ticket buyers at any point
b) Tags - to group your Seat Types and to create rules for Seat Types at checkout
c) Icon - select from the drop-down. This will display for users of the selected Seat Type Channels - both internal team members in the Box Office checkout or ticket buyers - wherever the seat is shown
d) Note - optional, visible for team members and ticket buyers. This can be used for guidance about the seats this Seat Type is added to
e) Note Background Colour - select from the colour chart. This will appear behind the Note and in some cases the Seat Icon when it is shown
f) Channels - select which Channels are able to see this Seat Type information. When selected, the Seat Type Icon will display on the Venue Plan for users of this Channel - both team members and ticket buyers
g) Submit Seat Type
3. Archive or Edit Seat Type
a) If you need to make changes by clicking Manage on your Seat Type list
b) Click Archive if want it removed from your Seat Types list
c) Click Edit to make changes and Submit to save
4. Add Seat Types to Venue Plan
a) Go to the Venues page from the left hand side and then click the Venue Plans tab
b) On your reserved seating Venue Plan, click the 3 dots icon and then Manage Seat Types
c) Select your chosen seats. To select multiple seats, hold down your shift button on your keyboard and the Paintbrush symbol will appear
d) Click Assign Seat Type on the right, select your Seat Type from the dropdown and click Done
e) To remove a Seat Type, select your seat and then on the right, click Remove Seat Type
