1. Add Terminal
a) Go to the Tools page on the left hand side
b) Click Payment Terminals
c) Click Add Terminal
2. Enter details
a) Name - a name for the Payment Terminal to help identify it easily
b) Description - optional
c) Model - you can find this on the Terminal device
d) Serial Number - you can find this from your payment provider
For Stripe - use the reader ID. See here for how to find this
e) Tags - help identify your terminals
3. Submit Payment Terminal
4. Edit or Delete Payment Terminal
a) If you need to make changes, click Manage on your Payment Terminal list
b) Make changes and click Submit
5. Add as Payment Method
Stripe
a) Go the Settings page
b) Click the Payment Methods tab and then New Payment Method
c) Enter details:
Type - select Stripe Terminal from the dropdown
Use testing mode? - optional, this will allow users to check out with Adyen test cards and should not be used in live booking flow
Connect a Stripe Account - this will take you to the Stripe website where you can follow their instructions for connecting your account
d) Once you've connected your Stripe account, you will be taken back to the Line-Up Payment Method page, where you can enter these details:
Name - for internal use only
Channels - who does this Payment Method apply to?
e) Click Submit to save
Adyen
a) Go the Settings page
b) Click the Payment Methods tab and then New Payment Method
c) Enter details:
Type - select Terminal - Adyen Terminals Payment Type from the dropdown
Use testing mode? - optional, this will allow users to check out with Adyen test cards and should not be used in live booking flow
Name - used for internal use only, on order details and for reporting
API Key - enter an Adyen API key
Client Key - enter an Adyen client key
HMAC Key - enter an Adyen HMAC key
Merchant Account Name - enter an Adyen merchant account name
c) Select which Channels this payment method applies to
d) Click Submit to save
