How do Discounts work?
Discounts work as new discounted prices you can add to your Event and which are added to a basket as a separate price to your standard Variants.
You create the Discount first, with specific Channel visibility and Coupons and then add them as a new price to the Price Table on your Event.
Then at checkout, the discounted price can be added to the basket with or without Coupon entry, depending on how you set up the Discount.
What is a Coupon?
The code that your customers will enter when applying a discount - this is different to the name of your Discount as a whole.
You can have as many Coupons as you like per Discount, with different Start and End times if you wish.
You have the choice between uploading them, creating them manually or to have them automatically generated.

You'll just need to create your Discount first via the Discounts page, where you can also set up the Coupons for your Discount. Once that is created you can toggle 'Discount Mode' on your Price Table and assign it to Variants.

Either individually by going to the Linked Performances section on the Discount's Visibility Page; or in bulk on the Performances page via the Action Bar by selecting multiple Performances.

Only if they are different Variants. When a Discount Code is entered, it will apply to the basket as a whole and change any Variants with a linked Discounted price.

You may not have assigned Adjusters on the Price Table in Discount Mode. Even though you have assigned an Adjuster on the standard Price Table, you will still need to assign them for its discounted counterpart.

You may not have assigned Channels for the non-Discounted Variant on the Price Table. As well, ensure you have given Visibility to that Channel on the Discount's Main Page.

By adding &PROMO= followed by your coupon code. You can add as many of these as you like into the URL.

Yes, you can report on Discount Name, Value and Total.
While you can report on the Discount at large, it is not possible to report on Coupon Codes. However, you can run an export of Coupon Codes on the Coupons tab via your Discounts page. This will show:

Uses remaining
Valid From Date
Valid To Date

Per Order. If you'd like to restrict the number of Tickets a Discount can be applied to, you can set a Basket Validation Rule on your Price Table.

If you have checked the Discount itself and the Discount Rate is correct, then please send the Discount and Price Table to Support so we can diagnose.
In the meantime, you can overwrite the Discount price itself by clicking on the price cell and manually changing the price.

Even though there is an Adjuster on the full price Variant, you'll still need to apply it on the Price Table in Discount Mode. See our Guide for more details.
Can I reuse limited-use Coupon Codes after a refund?
Can I reuse limited-use Coupon Codes after a refund?
Once a limited-use Coupon Code is redeemed, it will not be able to be used again, even if the Order is refunded.
If you require to use the Coupon Code again, you can increase the uses on the Coupon's page in Line-Up.
