Guide: Manage Customers

Follow the steps below for how to create and edit a Customer Profile

Manually Add a New Customer

NOTE - A customer will be automatically created on Line-Up when Customer Details are provided with an Order (unless the Skip Customer option is selected), so this is not a mandatory step.

  1. Go to the Customers page and click New Customer


Add Details

  1. First Name

  2. Last Name

  3. Email Address

  4. Password - leave blank to generate one

  5. Tags - optional, help filter your ticket buyers

  6. Phone Number - optional

  7. Address - optional

  8. Click Submit

Find Existing Customers

Use the Search bar anywhere on Line-Up to find your Customer by searching for:

  • Name

  • Email Address

  • Tag

  • Order Reference Number


Customer Profile

View Order History

  1. See the most recent Orders in Order History

  2. Click on See more Orders to see the entire Order history for the Customer


Edit Customer Details

  1. Click the pencil icon next to Customer Details

  2. On this page, you can edit:

    1. Customer Image - upload image or take photo using webcam

    2. First Name

    3. Last Name

    4. Email Address

    5. Tags

    6. Phone Number
      ​NOTE, a Customer Profile will show all phone numbers that have been used for the Customer's transactions

    7. Address

  3. When you've finished editing, click Submit to save
    ​

    NOTE - If you're unable to edit the email address, then it's likely that the email is already attached to another Customer Profile. If that's the case, you can Merge Customer Profiles.


Add Notes

  1. Add Note to Customer Profile

  2. Enter text and click Create Note

  3. The Note will then appear on the page, which you can Edit or Delete at any time


Update Opt-In Response

  1. Under Opt In History, click the pencil icon next to a response

  2. On the pop-up, tick or untick the Opt In box and click Submit

  3. Once you've updated the response, this will create a new Opt-In response

  4. This will appear in the Opt-In History, as well as a link to the Opt-In

View Email History

  1. Scroll down to Email History section at the bottom of the page

  2. You'll see the following columns:

    1. Email Template Name

    2. Subject - title of the email

    3. Entry Created At - when the email was triggered, i.e. just after the Order was created

    4. Scheduled / Sent - the send time of the email. If it was scheduled to send at a particular time, then it would be a different date and time to Created At

    5. Status - check the status of the send, see here for all the different statuses that can show. Hover over the i icon to see the most recent details

    6. Opens - how many times the user has opened the email

    7. Clicks - how many times a link in the email has been clicked

  3. For each email send, click the 3 buttons icon on the right to see these options:

    1. Resend Email - this will create a new email send that will appear in the list

    2. View Order - this will take you to the Order page where you can view and manage the order

    3. View Email Template - this will take you to the Email Template that was sent, where you can make any edits that you'd like

  4. Click See more Emails below the list to see all emails sent to this customer
