Example Reports

See below for a list of example Custom Reports

NOTE - These are suggestions based on common examples. You may need to add different Fields, Metrics and Filters and group them in a specific way that suits your needs.

1. Event Advance Sales - by Performance

To see advance sales for an event, performance by performance, create a Performances report and select the below.

Fields:

  • Event Name

  • Performance Day of Week

  • Performance Date Time

Metrics:

  • Sold Gross Value

  • Sold Tickets

  • Comp Tickets

  • Reserved Gross Value

  • Reserved Tickets

Filters:

  • Event Name is

  • Transaction Item Kind is: Ticket

  • Transaction Item Kind is: Price Adjuster

NOTE - Using the above will mean that returned items will appear. If you don't want to include returned items in this report, also add the following filters:

  • Transaction Type is: Sale

  • Item Is Void is: False

  • Group By = Performance Start Date Time

  • Performance Start Date Time = From Today

  • Transaction Completed at = Before Today

2. Daily Wrap

To see a daily wrap of tickets sold for your events, create a Performances report and select the below.

Fields:

  • Event Name

  • Channel Name

Metrics:

  • Sold Tickets

  • Sold Gross Value

  • Comp Tickets

  • Reserved Gross Value

  • Reserved Tickets

Filters:

None, unless you'd like to run a wrap for a specific Event. If that is the case, add an Event Name is filter.

  • Group By = Channel Name

  • Transaction Completed at = Today

NOTE - Using the above will mean that returned items will appear. If you don't want to include returned items in this report, also add the following filters:

  • Transaction Type is: Sale

  • Item Is Void is: False

3. Attendees List

To see daily attendees for a particular event or performance, create a Performances report and select the below.

Fields:

  • Performance Start Time (if you have multiple performances in a day)

  • Customer Full Name

  • Customer Email Address

  • Transaction Reference

  • Price Band Name

  • Price Variant Name

  • Transaction Note

Metrics:

  • Item Count

Filters:

  • Event Name is

  • Transaction Item Kind is: Ticket

  • Transaction Type is: Sale

  • Transaction Status is: Complete

  • Item Is Void is: False

  • Performance Start Date Time = Today (if you're reporting on attendees for only today's Performance - otherwise, select your chosen time period)

4. Products by Performance

To see Products sold for a particular Event or Performance, create a Performances report and select the below.

NOTE - Products must be linked to Performances in order for them to show in a Performances Report. If unlinked, they will show in an Orders Report but not next to any Performance data.

Fields:

  • Performance Start Date

  • Performance Start Time (if you have multiple performances in a day)

  • Customer Full Name

  • Product Name

  • Price Variant Name - optional, if you have multiple Variants

  • Transaction Note

Metrics:

  • Sold Gross Value

  • Item Count

Filters:

  • Transaction Item Kind is: Product

  • Transaction Type is: Sale

  • Product Name is

  • Performance Start Date Time = From Today (if you're reporting on attendees for only future performances - otherwise, select your chosen time period)

  • Group By = Performance Start Date

5. Availability Report (Reserved Seating)

To see the Availability Statuses on seats, create an Availability report and select the below.

Fields:

  • Event Name

  • Performance Date Time

  • Availability Status Type

  • Availability Status Name

  • Seating Object Area

  • Seating Object Sector

  • Seating Object Row

  • Seating Object Seat Label

Metrics:

  • Total Remaining

  • Total Unavailable

Filters:

  • Event Name is

  • Availability Status Name is

  • Group By = Performance Date Time

6. Voucher Use

To see voucher use in transactions, create a Vouchers report and select the below.

Fields:

  • Voucher Initial Balance

  • Voucher Code

  • Customer Email Address

Metrics:

  • Credit

  • Debit

  • Net

  • Expired Value

Filters:

If you want to only include valid vouchers, i.e. not expired and still have value remaining, then add:

  • Net not equals: 0

  • Voucher Is Expired: false
